One day old...
Our smiley happy baby...
And six years later, here you are! My beautiful, smart, funny, inquisitive, compassionate, outgoing six year old. You have brought me more joy than I can put into words and Mommy loves you as high as the sky and as deep as the ocean. Happy Birthday, Sweetheart.

Okay, the speech thing...
It's actually private speech that we do w/ Gabe (out of our pocket, the insurance won't cover it since his delay is NOT a result of illness or injury).
He was diagnosed with a moderate delay & is on a waiting list for a speech service through the Scottish Rite.
Knowing that the window he's in (2 year old range) is so crucial for language develop, we decided to just pay out of our pocket for the therapy & pray for the best.
I'm sure a lot of his improvement will be from maturity as well.
