Morning brew...

Upon seeing me brew my morning pot of coffee....

Alex: (With a concerned look on his face) "Mom! You can't drink coffee every morning! You need to drink other things, too, like water, or beer - or orange juice or something."

I found that to be very funny considering the fact that I don't even drink beer! Oh, what a different Mom I'd be if I woke up and drank my morning mug of beer instead of coffee!

Hah! Hyserical that he finds beer to be an appropriate substitute for coffee:) It sure would be another "pick me up" in the morning, yet I still think you'd better not start that habit:) Funny!

Perhaps I'd be a more patient, more laid back, & content momma!

Your little guy may be wiser than you think. Here's info per our tour at the Guiness brewery...

When they first created beer they freely gave it to ill people (including children) and pregnant women because they thought it was so nutritious!

I'm not a real beer drinker myself, besides a very occasional Shiner Bock, but I remember seeing a quote in a quaint German (read, heavy beer drinking) town. Outside a pub it read:
"Beer is living proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." --Benjamin Franklin

That is SO cute! Yes, a beer may be a better choice, if you'd rather go back to sleep! Beer makes me sleepy!

THAT is too funny!!!

Yes, I agree...the morning may be quite a bit different if you changed your morning brew!!! :-)

AND...how crazy about your picture saga!!! I can't even believe it! It DOES sound like the same story!!! So, you can "feel my pain", huh??? I am so sorry to hear that you had to deal with that stress as well!!!

Anyway, I hope that your pictures are here and ready for your scrapbooking (I just picked mine up!) and that you have a WONDERFUL weekend as well!!! I am so looking forward to getting away a bit...we are leaving in about a half an hour! :-)

Have a great time!!!

Funny! I was talking about my husband drinking so much milk at dinner once and my son said "yeah, Daddy has a drinking problem." Can't you just hear him telling his Sunday School teacher that?
