She is absolutely amazed by the ocean. Or, I should say "obsessed" - all she wants to do is go... out... THERE! When we are not outside, she stands by the patio doors and whines and points to go out.
I love this picture of her and Mike that I took yesterday. Daddy holding her hand... but just a little bit... because off she goes to explore on her own.

Yesterday, as I sat on the deck with her watching the sunrise, it was hilarious to watch her face as she saw different birds fly by. There are so many different types of birds down here that we would never see back in MN. She is crazy about the pelicans. This picture was just one of many that I snapped while sitting with her, and although I realize that she looks a lot like a monkey, I still thought it was cute because the surprise and awe in her face is so genuine. And all because of a couple of big flying birds.

So while we are down here, I am trying my best to capture each of these precious moments of Ariana experiencing these "firsts" - and trying, my best, to remember what it's like to see things through the eyes of a child. It's so much more colorful and amazing that way.

Okay, SERIOUSLY. Those photos are amazing. I can't even decide which I like best. But, I guess I'd have to say it's your GORGEOUS baby with her handsome daddy. The ever-so-slight hand-holding, the beach backdrop, the adorable munchkin face. Oh, MY!
O LORD, could she be ANY cuter??!!
And those photos are great! Keep'em coming, you're giving us all a little dose of vitamin D!
Love it. Great pictures of Ariana (and I, too, love the one with her and Mike!).
I'm so glad you're all having a wonderful time. I miss you all back home still though! LOVE that you're still online though!!! Keep blogging!!!

Those are such great shots, makes me wish I were in Florida!! And you thought we were lucky to have 70 in March? It's below 30 here today with ice & 3-4" of snow on the ground right now and it's still falling. That was a FREAK day, hence why we snapped up our chance to enjoy!!
I'm going to have to count down the days until we see Florida in September....except we don't have an exact leave date yet!!
Enjoy your trip!!
Thank you for sharing such adorable pictures of Ariana --- she is just beautiful, like her mother! :) The look on her face when she sees the birds flying by is priceless. I also love the picture of her and Mike. What a special moment for them. I'm so glad you're enjoying your time down there, but you better come back!!!!
What a DOLL. That middle picture of her looking at the birds is so precious!!!
It is fun to see "life" through the eyes of a child, isn't it? :-) What a great "challenge" to us adults too...to take in all that God has given us as if it were the "first" time that we have seen it or witnessed it!!!
