Ooo, I bet you're wondering what kind of comments you'll get on this one, Ange! Well, here goes the first comment...
I'll first say that I'm tiring of this election. In my opinion, neither candidate is stellar. However, there are deeper issues than who tickles my fancy, who seems more intelligent, who is more patriotic, blah, blah, blah!
There's a lot at stake in this election.
It seems as though Obama would enforce many things that are "above" his "paygrade" at the expense of God's most precious gift--life.
Just as many people have now forgotten how to do things manually (i.e. figuring mathematical equations because of calculators that figure things out for us; fixing cars because of their now-complicated computer systems that monitor our vehicles for us, etc.), let us not forget how to lead a moral lifestyle by voting for someone who would try to make us forget how to do that.
What are our priorities?
Mine are:
God,
spouse,
then everything else.

Angela, I saw this on your facebook page too. And Laura sums it up so well. There is SO much at stake with this election and b/c I live my life according to the bible, I cannot turn from what God would want for me to stand up for. It is our job to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We just can't leave Jesus at home when we go to vote, we just can't! I know Jesus will be coming into the voting booth with me!
Laura says it so well...what are our priorites? And YES in a VERY particular order! God, Spouse, and everything else.
Ok, so a little different comment, not to take away from the seriousness of the issue....I'm sitting at the computer and Gabby is sleeping in her crib next to me. Ayana and Joey tiptoe in, excited to see what I'm looking at. All of a sudden Joey screams, "OH NO!!! It's Rock Obama!"
