My heart could not have been more full of joy than when my daughter - all on her own- said her bedtime prayers tonight and said this...
"Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for us.
Thank you for saving our lives.
Thank you for forgiving my sins.
Thank you, Jesus, that you rose from the dead.
Amen."
I absolutely couldn't have said it better myself. And I couldn't be more thankful that her heart is where it is and that she knows the truth.

That is SO awesome! Ellie and I just had the same conversation in the car ride home last night that resulted in her praying a prayer of thanks. Except, she thanked God for "rolling over" (rose from the dead) HA!....for the sake of our children it is our greatest calling to be a living example. Their salvation and eternity is at stake! What a blessing to see her little heart already transforming!
