Hold on to your hats KIDS!

Today was windy (the proof is in the hair-do!). And by windy, let me give you this visual... Mike trying with all of his might to open the driver side van door to get in and having to pull... pull... PULL it open against the wind. HOLY SMOKES! It was like a hurricane, but without the ominous clouds and rain.

Because it was so windy, no swimming for us. But we found a nice park right on the Indiatlantic River. It was such a neat park- had a great view and the kids had a blast walking out on the pier. They loved playing at the park. We haven't played at a park since, well, I guess October.

I had to laugh (a little bit) at a few of the other locals I was visiting with at the park who were lamenting about what an awful cold spell we (in Florida) are having. Mind you, it was about 68 today and sunny (though the wind made it more uncomfortable). I kid you not, yesterday Mike saw a guy at the Mall wearing a winter coat and mittens. No, that was not a typo. I actually wrote MITTENS!

Anyway, here is a "snapshot" of our day...
