I look at your face, an equal mix of determination and sheer exhilaration.

And just like that, you're taking that first step out of your mama's life.

Of course it happens slowly. Maybe not quite so dramatic.

But I watch you persevere. Unsteady, but resolved.

And I watch you go.

You glance back at your Mama and Daddy.
