I can't say that I mind... in the least.
Considering that this is (temporarily) our backyard.
Here I stand on our deck (behind the lens)- and here is what I see just over the bushes...
Yes, there is a good reason why my blog says "beach party on the side.
Ok, it may not be a party- but it's definitely the BEACH!
She likes it here...
They like it here...
And so does he.
Although I realize his face may suggest otherwise.
Personally, I think he looks a little confused.
He may be wondering why his mother put (as Daddy calls them) "leg warmers" on him.
And despite the fact that Daddy says, "no son of mine is going to wear leg warmers" - his mother will continue to put them on because a) they keep his legs warm and b) she finds them adorable because c) anything this little guy wears would look cute on him.

LOL!!! Christian seems to wear a lot of things that Mike says, "My son will never wear that!" Oh the joys of number 4, right? You know what works! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pictures, and seeing your kids. Cute tent thingy too. Miss you!
I seem to remember this same theme in your blogging posts this time last year.
I have to say I'm still jealous a year later ;)
I LOVE the beach, anytime, anywhere.
Hello,
Ran across your blog randomly. Wanted to share my experience with my son's 2 hemangiomas. He had one on his lip and one on his belly. They started to appear at around 3 days of age and by 4 months I was freaking out. Soooo worried about the growth, been to multiple doctors, etc. By 6 months they had stopped growing. We ended up at a third specialist who recommended waiting another 6 months before doing any laser surgery. Everyone needs to make their own decisions, but OUR decision NOT to do anything was the best for us. Our son is 5 1/2 now and you would never know he had these huge growths. The looks we got when he was young were horrible and when I look back at pictures I can see why. The laser surgeries would have limited if not stopped his breast feeding. They were not interfering with anything functioning, technically only cosmetic. The other positive thing was that it gave me a chance to educate people about something not many people know about. Kids didn't seem to notice his lip until he was about 4. Now he proudly shows off his faint special only to him marks. Good luck with your son and your surgeries. There are some message boards online that were helpful to me in the beginning. I was always glad to hear of other people's experiences. You are in my thoughts.
Carrie
